اِنۡ یَّدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اِلَّاۤ اِنٰثًا ۚ وَ اِنۡ یَّدۡعُوۡنَ اِلَّا شَیۡطٰنًا مَّرِیۡدًا ﴿۱۱۷﴾ۙ
117. یہ (مشرکین) اللہ کے سوا محض زنانی چیزوں ہی کی پرستش کرتے ہیں اور یہ فقط سرکش شیطان ہی کی پوجا کرتے ہیںo
117. Instead of Him, they worship none but female (deities),* and they worship none but Satan, the rebellious.
* Most of the idols worshipped by Arab pagans had female names, e.g. Lat, Manat, ‘Uzza, Na‘ila, etc.
